Vision: For every young adult and college-aged student in the Amarillo/Canyon area to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and to build up functioning followers of Jesus.
We value Connectivity
Connected to God
"For in Him, we live and move and have our being." The greatest connection we can have is to be connected to God. There is no greater fellowship than with the Creator. Our primary aim is to let college students and young adults experience God in the different areas of their lives. From the worship experience on Tuesday nights, to service projects and mission trips, to having lunch with the pastor, leaders, and members of our fellowship, our goal is to show people God's love and His desire to be connected to us in everything we do.
Connected to Others
"And let us not give up meeting together." Hebrews 10:24 - These words come from the mouth and the heart of God. God's intent was for us to live out our lives together, and we seek to do this in several ways.
Our weekly small groups meet in homes around the Amarillo and Canyon area and every week we gather together for our Weekly Service to celebrate together the goodness of God.
Connected to the Community
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:40 As stated above, God never intended for us to live our lives in isolation. In addition to our fellowship at PTCC, young adults are encouraged to live out their faith in the context of where they are and to practice living the life that God wants us to live.
We value Identity
Post high school is a time when many young adults seek to answer a number of questions including.
Who am I, really?
What am I doing here?
What will I major in at College?
What career do I want to pursue?
What do I really believe about God?
.and a host of many others.
Questions about yourself and your future are hard to answer when you're not exactly sure who you are. Our ministry will help you, and encourage you to answer these questions and to provide you with a safe and loving environment to help you discover your identity and your spirituality in the light of God. Remember, no one goes solo, we're in this together.

We value Maturity
"With great power comes great responsibility." Uncle Ben, Spiderman I know, I know, it's not from the Bible, but it's a really good quote. Actually, there IS a verse like it in the Bible. Luke 12:48 states, " From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." God has given us all gifts and talents, but the greatest gift of all He's given us is the gift of grace through Jesus Christ. We seek to become like Christ in all we say and do. The goal of our life is to live a life worthy of God's calling. Our goal for this aspect of ministry can be summed up with a verse from Colossians, "We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me." (Chapter1, verse 28-29)
Five Elements of Maturity
- Prayer
- Spiritual warfare (purity in thoughts, words, and actions; overcoming temptation)
- Spirit-empowered life (discovering and exercising spiritual gifts, listening to God's guidance and wisdom for our lives)
- Serving others (being connected to the community)
- Reading scripture and sharing the faith(listening to and obeying God)
